This over-the-counter topical medication for the treatment of fungal yeast infections includes three-day treatment ovule inserts. The single-use Monistat vaginal applicators are placed inside the vagina and dissolve to combat the yeast imbalance. To use the applicators, remove the packaging first. After inserting the applicator, the ovule is released into the vaginal canal. This type of Monistat vaginal cream insertion device has a tubular construction to keep hands and fingers clean during the application. The ovule stays in place all day, even if you do a vigorous workout. Your body heat warms the ovule, which allows it to release the active ingredients. The medication within each ovule disrupts the growth of the fungus. Each of the plastic Monistat vaginal applicators is disposable and can be thrown into a waste can. You can easily take an applicator in your purse to work or school. Each of the applicators is individually wrapped for convenience. The inserts are designed to be used without any mess to clean up and can be used nightly to treat the infection. In addition, the Monistat 3 product includes a topical external itch cream. This yeast infection daytime treatment is designed to provide relief during the day as you wait for your symptoms to resolve. The external cream can be put onto your finger and applied to the irritated areas near your genitals. The cream product is clinically proven to resolve irritation and itchiness within three days. The tube of cream weighs about 0.32 ounces and is designed to last for at least three days if you apply it twice daily. This complete Monistat cream pack is designed to reduce external irritation. There are also four cooling soothing wipes that can ease any burning or itching sensation. You can use these wipes along with the cream during the days you experience discomfort and unpleasant genital odors. This vaginal health cream is designed for girls and women ages 12 and older. The active ingredients in this Monistat vaginal yeast infection ovule include Miconazole Nitrate 2 percent, which is a vaginal antifungal drug. The active drug in the vaginal cream is also Miconazole Nitrate. The inactive drugs of this product include Gelatin, Glycerin, Hydrogenated Vegetable Oil Base, Titanium Dioxide, External Cream: Benzoic Acid, Cetyl Alcohol, Isopropyl Myristate, Polysorbate 60, Potassium Hydroxide, Propylene Glycol, Purified Water, and Stearyl Alcohol. This over-the-counter medicine for yeast infections is designed to end your days of dealing with irritating skin conditions and provide you with relief of your symptoms.
