Your enemy is your only chance of survival
A very suspensful and gripping adventure set in the Canadian wilderness involving Anthony Hopkins and Alec Baldwin who crashland their plane and have to learn how to survive in this savage terrain.They find they are being stalked by a grizzly bear(played by Bart the bear who has appeared in numerous outdoor movies) and to try and keep one step ahead of him needs all the skills they have between them.Besides this there is a subplot concerning Baldwin's interest in Hopkin's wife which makes the movie extra suspensful because you wonder how it will all end.In any case THE EDGE is well worth a watch and even purchase and to my mind this is one of Hopkin's best ever roles.The bluray is stunning and brings out the features of the snowy alaskan wilderness-definitely well recommended!Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Gebraucht

How I survived a week without the Washington Post
Really an excellent film demonstrating many of the things required to survive in the wilderness, skills lost to our emasculated, feminized males. Both actors are great, the scenery is awesome. This is a Must See Incredible Movie---Loved It!
This movie is fantastic! Of course, when you have Anthony Hopkins in anything, it turns out very well. Alec Baldwin, in my opinion, deserves much better credit for his acting, which in this movie is incredible.
