Product Information

Forget about work and daily stress and escape into a world of action role-playing as Kyme, a warrior of the Alliance and former prince of a kingdom that has fallen into the hands of the Empire. Following the rescue of his sister, Kyme begins a quest to discover how the Empire has become so powerful. Drakengard battles are fought in one of three modes of play: Dogfight, Strafe, and Melee. Dogfight Mode features air-to-air battles as players ride on the back of the red dragon. Strafe Mode includes air-to-ground battles in which players ride the red dragon while attempting to wipe out enemy armies. Melee Mode places Kyme on foot, where he wields a variety of weapons while fighting hundreds of soldiers.

    Item was as described, but was packaged in a box with just some bubble pack around it. It must have shifted around in the box quite a bit as when I opened the game box, not a piece was left in the tray and pieces were everywhere else in the box. Ordered on a Friday and was shipped on Monday, but still took 8 days to get here from USPS (not seller's fault, but no idea why USPS took so long). Was updated by EBAY at each point item was in shipping from arrival at Post Office to Delivery.

    Good framework for the series... but kind of a weak start

    To be perfectly frank, if you're looking for a game with a good a amount of variety, I don't think you'll find it here, so long as you don't find switching from ground fights to dragon air battles ever next level a detriment to your experience. Truth be told, I enjoyed my time with Drakengard, I just don't think it's worth any more than 10 bucks (unfortunately though, $40 is about the minimum you'll find this one going for at the time of writing this). Honestly, I really only tracked down the original Drakengard in order to play through the series from the start and while I'm still glad I did and the future games looks to be better in a number of ways, this first game was a bit of a slog to get through at times. You'll be grinding your weapon levels to make it through some of the later ...

    Tested and works. For some reason the tv cuts to black for a second at random times, but the game still runs fine afterwards.

    Great hidden gem

    Honestly horrendous game play but the story is so crazy it works. Yoko taro (maybe misspelled) always produces masterpieces when it comes to the fact that not every story ends with a happy ending.

    Feels nostalgic

    It seems classic and is fun to play if you want to play games from the past. This is especially good as their is no re-release on PS3or 4. I recommend.
