    Awesome lightheated movie with a beautiful message.

    This is a wonderful foriegn film with subtitles unless you speak french but no worries....you will be able to follow it and it will become one of your favorite movies. It does something that most movies fail to do. It has a beautiful message. It shows an act of kindness that makes this a feel good movie you will want to watch again. I originally rented it because I like foreign films with subtitles and the smiling Amelie looked so French with that smile it intrigued me to read the jacket. I really enjoyed watching it so much I decided to buy it because it made me feel good and plus it was very humorous to boot. If you watch only one foriegn film in your life...this should be it. There is a reason why it got 5 Academy award nominations and it definitely is well deserving. It is a ...

    Many Excellent Reviews. Read them.

    There are some excellent reviews, well written, that I would encourage you to read! Even though I don't speak French, I followed the movie easily. However, since I don't speak French, I understand I missed many intended plays on words (mer, mere).

    Wonderful French comedy

    A wonderful example of quirky French comedy with Audrey Tautou in the lead role.

    Great Movie!

    This 2 Disk version is Great! It has easy to read subtitles in yellow instead of white. The movie is a Great Audrey Tautou movie that I would recommend to anyone!

    Sweet and odd film!

    Charming, quirky film about a lovely French girl - often called the French Audrey Hepburn. It takes many turns, all working out for the best. I always like films of that nature.
