The female equivalent of Indiana Jones returns for a special encore performance in this enhanced update of 1996's Tomb Raider, which made Lara Croft a household name and the object of affection for prepubescent boys across the globe. To commemorate Croft's ten-plus years as an influential video game heroine, this anniversary edition of Tomb Raider features all of the levels, enemies, and puzzles from the award-winning original, but with the advanced graphics engine introduced in 2006's Tomb Raider: Legend. <br><br>Anniversary follows Lara through the beginning of her relationship with archeology, and players begin by leading a little Lara through her first tomb raiding adventure. The play mechanics have also changed to a degree, and players must navigate the lovely Lara throughout the exotic locales of Peru, Greece, Egypt, and Atlantis with the Wii Remote and Nunchuk. As Lara uses her grappling hook used to swing from one precarious ledge to the other, players must secure her hold on each ledge by wiggling the nunchuck and pressing on the D-pad. The remote is used to direct Lara's flashlight beam, select objects, and to fire upon enemies including wolves, crocodiles, and the occasional T-Rex.

    cool game

    cool game . typical of the time s . busy work , not especially creative levels .but fun levels . typical of the time the bosses are difficult and sometimes , often, take the fun out of the game .myself I quit at the level 8 bosses a nd I'm playing on easy level .it's just not worth the effort when I have better , more recent tomb raider games. but this was fun to goof around with for a few days .

    Excelente game!!

    I didn't know what to expect of this game. I was excited and a little uncertain. This game did not disappoint, the gameplay and story is amazing and the graphics are pretty good coming from a Wii system. I really enjoyed killing a T-REX. The only flaw I have is the camera, it can get pretty annoying but if you can get pass that you will enjoy this game 100%. Oh yeah I forgot to mention this game is a remastered from the original Tomb Raider 1996.
