Endless mix-and-match combinations for personalized police and rescue plaques. Start with a central shield pattern for police, fire or EMS; then add a name or division on the outside ring. An alphabet wheel and additional patterns for each of the 50 states allow you to make literally hundreds of different plaques., Policemen and women, fire crews and ambulance teams all play an important role in our society. Now you can show these men and women how much their services are appreciated by creating a hand-made, personalized plaque just for them. Each pattern is drawn in crisp, black lines to make scrolling easy. The patterns are designed to be "mixed and matched" to create a variety of plaques. Start with a central pattern for police, fire or EMS, then add a name or division on the outside ring. An alphabet wheel and additional patterns for each of the 50 states make the combinations endless. When your pattern is complete, simply transfer it to the wood of your choice and cut it out. Basic cutting instructions help you choose wood and show you how to use spacers to give your finished plaque a three-dimensional look.

I'm not sure if they shipped a hard cover by mistake. But I am more than happy to accept it. The description wasn't clear on what it was. So this could very well have been the intended item. I was not very impressed with their customer service at all. It took them days to respond and they didn't seem to care about the delay in shipping. I might purchase again, but I would be cautious as it was delayed.

The only problem is a recurring one with this seller and other similar sellers - the book is poorly packaged in a plastic envelope and gets heavily bumped in shipping. I would like to see the books wrapped before shipment, but I understand this can't be done for cost reason. Luckily it isn't an expensive book, and I will continue to purchase basic books from this seller. A+++++
