Product Information

The Canadian television series DUE SOUTH is a police action-comedy revolving around Canadian Mountie Benton Fraser (Paul Gross) and his partner, Chicago cop Ray Vecchio (David Marciano). When Fraser is exported to the streets of Chicago from up north to fight crime, the polite mountie and his deaf, lip-reading K-9 encounter endless humor, especially in their experiences with the vastly different Vecchio. This release contains the entire second season as broadcast in the United States.

Season Two keeps on with the 'good stuff'!!
The characters are developing and the synergy is just amazing. They get a little 'slapstick' with some episodes, but it seems like everyone had a great time doing ALL of it! You still can't beat Paul Gross in a Mountie uniform, and he continues to make you believe he is truly educated in EVERY subject and truly innocent in ALL aspects!! He's an incredible actor and this role is perfectly suited for him! Wish I could find more of his work!!

Great program and cast!
We spent some time reading about the lead character and found that he was a pretty amazing man. His life and the story about the program were very entertaining. We had lived in Alberta so we were especially interested in what Paul Gross was still doing with his life. The big change in the cast was the loss of David Marciano in season 3. He was a great partner for Paul. It was truly a moment in time. The story was very funny but entertaining. Family friendly and CLEAN. Highly recommend the entire 3 year series, which we own.
