The smaller scenarios focus not only on smaller battles, but also on engagements within a larger encounter, while the larger scenarios present a wider view of a battle. Review of “Across A Deadly Field: The war in the east” by Mr. John Hill
This is another great rule set, for war gaming the Civil War! These were written by Mr. John Hill, a MILITARY analyst, and wargaming expert, who has written several war game rules sets! This set covers the Civil War in the east, and it complements the rule set Civil War in the west, and the regimental set up of civil war war gaming units! I highly recommend all three of these rule sets, that are written by a good friend, and wargaming expert! These rules also have a lot of Civil War historical information, that is good for any Civil War historian!
