Implausible C19 bonkbuster
Implausible C19 bonkbuster set in the wilds of Cornwall. We gave up after two or three episodes. Susan Howatch subsequently wrote much better stories than this, eg about the C of E, which I would recommend highly, albeit they are only available in book form.

Easy viewing
Initially, I thought the storyline was not very interesting and fairly slow and boring. I am glad that I continued to follow the drama as it unfolded. There were some surprising series of events centred on the well-developed characters and their behaviour. The drama was televised by the BBC in the 1970's and this is the DVD of the serialised drama set in coastal Cornwall in the early 1900's. It is dated...it was filmed 30 yrs ago but good story.
