As Good As It Can Get
The classic story line, engaging characters, the beauty of Rio and the excitement of carnival all combine to make a beautiful, timeless film. This edition is a step above the regular DVD, with sharper, smoother images, more intense color. The only drawback is that the sound track is dated--good quality but mono.

Like a trip to Carnivale
I have loved this movie for years, and was glad to have the opportunity to upgrade from DVD to Blu-ray. It was still in the original cellophane and arrived quickly. One of the great movies that I recommend to everyone.

Black Orpheus is a 1959 classic film. It's an adaptation of the Greek tale of Orpheus and Eurydice set in the Leme fevela of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. It introduced the world to the Samba.and the Bossa Nova. Find the songs A "Felicidade", "Manha de Caraval," and "Samba ba de Orfeu" on youtube. You have probably heard them before. They were part of the brilliant soundtrack of the film. It will be an excellent addition to your film library.
