Great book about freedom

Freaked out my daughter - but I like it
The girl has stripes and other patterns on her skin, then she turns into things (a creature, a house) and the images scared my 5 year old daughter a little. She was fine when we read it but later said she kept thinking about it and it was scary. Favorite Childhood Book

Grandson birthday gift
