Good enough to make you foreget the first one.
Yes it has a lot of blood and gour but that's the nature of the beast if you can get by that it's a good example of this sort of movie. Good 3D and non stop action as well as decent character development makes this a movie worth watching for me and for what I paid for it a real bargain. The audio paeformance was excellent and the bad guys all got what was coming to them. What's not to like if this is your cup of tea. Worked for me.

What Dredd fans needed!
I have long loathed Stallone's incarnation of Judge Dredd. Carl Urban does an excellent job of playing true to the comic book character. The setting, supporting actors, and plot all hold up really well in what can only be described as a gem.

Great action movie
Great addition to the the Dredd movies and Karl Urban is great. Simple story but truly excellent action throughout the film.

Dredd is here finally.
Dredd is very underrated action film. Close to the source material and far from it's 90s film. It's visually appealing and well rounded , no needless subplots or Easter eggs hinting towards a sequel. It's a stand alone good movie .

Dredd is best! Sad no sequel!
I thought this was by far the greatest Judge Dredd on screen and live action adaptation. They should totally make a show or work on a second one for this. It was phenomenal.

Action Masterpiece !
This movie is up there with ROBO COP, ROAD WARRIOR, TERMINATOR as a great original movie with great story, characters and action. Great colorful transfer!

Awesome Remake
The special effects are totally cool with this remake of the Sylvester Stallone original movie. It's story line is different but the sci-fi aspect are very similar.

I did not enjoy the whole movie. May be for others!
I don't feel I found any interesting story line throughout the movie. It is just pile of bloody scenes. The 3D version? I didn't know what to make of it. Ghosting is so rampant. For me it was just a waste of money.

Mindblowing 3D Movie
This is one of my favorite 3D movies. The story is great. The action is non-stop. The effects are some of the best! Watch it!

If you like the orginial Dredd, this one should not disappoint.
I think this is a very good stand alone SciFi movie and one that does not take away from the Dredd series. I was definitely kept entertained. I have not had the opportunity to view in 3-D, so i can't comment on it yet.
