SMC Pentax-A 50 mm 1:1.7 lens
Purchased used. I'd guess the lens dates to the mid 1980's I bought it to use on a digital SLR (K7) in place of an identical "M" lens that I've owned for 20+ years. With the "A" lens there are features that are activated in the various modes like P, Green, TAV, AV that retain the lens settings in the photo's properties listing. Focus is smooth and precise. Close up focus is about 1.5 feet. Good for low light (no Flash) with 1.7 lens opening. Good lens for a K1000

A Quality Purchase For A Budget Price
Whether your a Pentax user or not (Manual Settings only either way) it's a quality lens. With a very smooth ring. Beautiful for video and creamy bokeh for photography. It has some weight to it due to the industrial build, but it's a very pocketable piece of kit.

Amazing lens for videomakers

Pentax SMC A 50mm f1.7
It may be old school but it is certainly value for money at twice the price I purchased this one as a backup I don't think I will ever need.
