It is equipped with a potent V-Drive hybrid MOSFET60 internal amp that provides plenty of power, and the 4-volt preamp outputs allow for more customization as needed. Other features include a MaxTune SQ tuner, XM Satellite Radio controls, 18 presets, and a wireless remote for more convenient control. The illuminated buttons on the face plate can be switched from green to amber, adding a neat aesthetically pleasing option.This Alpine CD Player has a motorized and detachable face. It has a switchable green and amber button illumination and 4-volt front and rear subwoofer preamp outputs. In order to reduce excessive power consumption and improve sound quality, this unit has a blackout display mode that will turn off the display automatically. It has six preset AM stations and 12 preset FM stations to save you the time and frustration of finding a station. Its signal-to-noise ratio is 105 dB, 80 dB. Its dynamic range is 95 dB and total harmonic distortion is 0.008%. The remote control is comprised of infrared technology. Excellent Alpine and great deal if you find a good one MOST are NOT !!!,Be gentle they are over 10 yrs old .
I'm a long time audiophile as well as a 20+year high end installer and tech .All that being said I have bought several 7894's mostly for parts so I'd have them .But since I have written this everyone who has a ratty scratched up dirty 7894 tries to sell it for $150.00 sorry they're not worth that ,almost all I have seen lately are only worth about $40.00Theyare only worth$$$if they are in really good condition,spotless and buttons not all rubbed off!!! OK that being said,they have a good overall sound quality , however I always use amps and turn off the internal amp don't think you're going to get 60 x 4 although they have good power for a radio especially with the built in Xover . Good overall deck NOW FOR THE MAIN REASON I USE THEM is they are a good head unit to modify I have rebuilt the power supply with a variety of HighEnd capacitors ,a new enclosure as well as have designed a Highbrid vacuum tube/transistor output section with these mods the are great sounding,higher signal to noise and better sound stage as well as overall presentation!!!!!!!!!!!!Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Gebraucht

Disappointed
The one I received doesn't look like the one pictured. The one I received , the screen is barely visable and not visable at all on a sunny day especially if you turn off the Amber color and the face of screen looks like it's been taken off or coming loose because there's bubbles behind it.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Gebraucht
