Great Nostalgia
I remember these programmes when they were on television and thought then what a perfect example of country life I was watching. Jack Hargreaves acted as if he was in your shed talking to you about a topic from the vast amount of knowledge he had accumulated over his life time. His quiet enthusiasm was infectious and left you wanting more. I do not know if there are any more programmes to digitise but the nine discs currently available are a must for anyone interested in our country history.
