    Superbly explains the role of brain chemistry in addiction

    Scenic backdrops of national parks highlights the beauty of God's creation and the magnificence of our brains. Kevin gains instant street cred as both a recovering addict and an MD. His use of various physical props, diagrams, and pictures to explain the unique role of brain chemistry in addiction gives addicts, their families, and medical professionals new hope in understanding, and perhaps breaking, the cycle of addiction.

    Brilliant, evidence-based explanation of addiction; thoroughly engaging.

    This is the clearest, most cogent explication of addiction I have come across. I will likely order several copies for patients, their loved ones, and learners.

    Best Addiction Movie Out There

    Addiction is a complex disease and often frustrating for everyone to understand. Pleasure Unwoven is a movie I use in my practice frequently to help my clients understand what they are experiencing as well as helping family member understand the process of addiction. If you want to understand why addiction is considered a disease, you won't get a better explanation than this documentary.
