THE CLASSIC 'DIFFERENT' WESTERN
This Season 4 set completes my 5 Season Coilection of the MAVERICK Series. Maverick was the satirical Western. The snarky Western. It often parodied other westerns. It Parodied Bonanza perfectly with the "Wheelrights" (instead of Cartwrights...get it?). It parodied Gunsmoke... and others. It could be silly. It could be serious. It was a brilliant show. Arrived in good shape
Everything is in good shape except Disc 7 Has errors in the first 2 episodes and they will not play. Nothing visibly wrong and cleaning doesn't help. A highly unusual problem.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Neu

Excellent Documentation of a Terrible Time in History.
Seems to be a faithful reproduction of the 1975 series. Since it is a British production, it does recount the history of WWII from the British point of view, which isn't all bad. The only thing I miss is the "Thames" intro that was on the TV series 44 years ago.
