    Great information in an easy read!

    The format of info was laid out concisely. I tend to read a few chapters of a book and not finish it but this one was so full of needed info that I was able to read the whole book in just a few sittings. Loved it.

    Outdated Information

    Many of these recipes are high on the USDA's PRAL list, meaning that they are meat and dairy laden and will contribute to a high Potential Renal Acid Load. Kidneys do not like acid-forming foods. I'm giving it 2 stars, rather than 1 because there are a few useful salad recipes. But basically, the information in this book is outdated. If you really want to save your kidneys, read 'Stopping Kidney Disease' by Lee Hull.
