The fifth season of the adaptation of Charlaine Harris' Southern vampire novels picks up right where Season 4 left off, with Sookie (Anna Paquin) and Lafayette (Nelsan Ellis) fearing for the life of Tara (Rutina Wesley), though there is also the matter of cleaning up Debbie Pelt's blood. Meanwhile, Bill (Stephen Moyer) and Eric (Alexander Skarsgĺrd) face a new threat, but it's coming from their own kind as they find themselves at the mercy of the Vampire Authority under Roman (Christopher Meloni) and Salome (Valentina Cervi), who want answers about the fate of Russell Edgington (Denis O'Hare). Elsewhere, Sam (Sam Trammell) is pursued by a wolf pack after its leader disappears; Jason (Ryan Kwanten) has an unexpected reunion with Steve Newlin (Michael McMillian); and Terry (Todd Lowe) is haunted by visions of Iraq when war buddy Patrick (Scott Foley) shows up warning of repercussions from their tour of duty.

    TRUE BLOOD IS AWESOMELY ENTERTAINING!

    If you love vampires and romance mixed in with some suspense then add the entire collection of TRUE BLOOD! Have fun on a binge with TRUE BLOOD. The box sets have awesome photography on them and I am continuing to collect all 7 seasons.

    Exceptional

    Sookie Stackhouse is not the only one in danger! Watch as they battle the most powerful vampire who wants to screw mainstream/intergration with humans. He is a firm believer in vampires being and doing whatever they want to humans because they are food and it's in their nature so why not follow the food chain route and forget humanity. Ride this roller coaster and applaud Alan Ball (the writer) for last season with this incredible show!

    It's a good series.

    I wound up buying each season separately; which was not a good value. It's a good show. Go ahead and buy it; but buy them as a boxed set. You'll save money.

    Awesome series

    The best series ever and I don't even like vampire stories. Love Alexander Skarsgard as Eric Northman. His facial expressions are priceless.
