I dont need the stand but it's convenient. The orange strap makes it easy to see. I have had it about a month and seems as good as new. Many people complaned this could break or not stay magneticaly attached but I have not had any issues with the 2 different covers I have on my 16 pro and iphone 16. The pro is a tight fit at the camera so you can't spin it like the 16 FYI.
