Wasted time and money for this valve.....
Bought this Dorman 911-242 valve on July 8th and installed. It did clear my EGR failure code and appeared to be a good repair. Now 5 months later it has failed again producing the same EGR failure code. So now have to go out and do it all over again with a better valve. EGR valves are not real complicated by design and this valve should not have failed in 5 months.....not impressed with Dorman parts.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Neu

this valve is junk!!!!!!!!!
I purchased this valve and replaced the one on my jeep. only had a position code. 3 days later it stuck open and caused numerous problems.....Took it to a dealer ......$600.00 later had to replace it again with an oem valve......NOT PLEASED AT ALL !!!!! Don't waste your time with this brand
I bought this EGR valve and in less than 6 months I am having the same error code and I need to replace the valve again, which is a big job, if you want to save time get the mopar one instead or a old one from a junk car.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Neu

Waste of Money and Time
