A nice kit that could be a little bet better.
This kit goes together pretty well. It is very similar to several other '62 Belair models that AMT produces. The fit and finish are good, and it is nicely detailed. Extra parts are limited to a Z-11 intake and air cleaner, plus a full exhaust system. It would be nice if there was a set of stock rally wheels, some period mags, and some chrome valve covers. That would let the builder customize the kit more to their preference. This is only a small niggle however, because many builders (like myself) have boxes and boxes of spare parts left over from other kits. I might also mention that a lot of resin-cast parts such as cowl induction hoods are available for this kit. While these would add to the cost of the model, one might be able to craft some cool scale street machines with them.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Neu

Simply an easy build with many options...
Dear AMT, As a veteran kit builder from the sixties this kit still was entertaining and went together well. As modelers continue their quest to "master" this skill "we" push ourselves to the next level setting our own expectations higher and high, which in most cases opens the door to new ideas for the next build. This sought after quest is what keep us old guys coming back for more. Normally, if its an AMT kit, then you probably won't be disappointed with the purchase nor the end result.
