Lineage- do you know yours is from God?
Francine Rivers is one of the best authors of Christian fiction. While fiction, it is full of history of the times and the Bible characters represented. My eyes were opened as I saw that 4 of these 5 women were not of Jewish lineage but were included in Jesus' lineage. They also had had questionable lives that caused some in the Jewish community to shun them. Interestingly, the men who choose to marry them saw their repentance and change of life and mind. Wonderful look at women who surrendered to God and found fulfillment in their lives. I know we are all looking for that fulfillment today.Francine Rivers is one of the best authors of Christian fiction. More than I hoped for
These stories take you back to a time and a land where you find yourself wanting to be. The author pulls you right into the story and bam, you are there. You find yourself relating to the biblical characters in a way you never imagined before. I would recommend this series to anyone who wants to take a trip back in time and get to know these 5 remarkable women.

A very riviting Christian Fiction Novel about the Women In the lineage of Christ..Francine Rivers has a real talent for making you feel as though your actually transported to that time,and she makes these characters come to life..The Bible and the book tell us these women were by no means perfect,and had many hardships and obstacles,but through faith and the grace of God..became the forebearers of our Lord. A MUST read book
This is one of the best books I’ve ever read!! These are women we have heard of and their stories are from the Bible. This is a common sense story of what the times and conditions were like. They are as timely to women today. We all have problems and issues facing us every day The book is about strong women that knew they had to rely on God to make it!

Big book with great stories
Very good read. Gives more insight into what these 5 Ladies of the Bible might have gone through. Some things I had never thought of. I liked that all 5 stories were included. It lets you read about one of the ladies and then start another when you want to.
