I have found 2 problems both of which I will get round, first HDMI sound only, second it can only program 7 programs which in my case is limiting . n

To use this recorder at minimum requires a 16GB USB 3,0 formatted to NTFS , it also requires a second ariel to be able to use both tuners, which will allow you to watch one program while recording another channel.

A free-view recorder that works
We have had two free-view recorders previously - this one works in a very similar way and is very good value, especially since we were offered a reconditioned item. Just remember - you need a USB 3 stick and need to practice with the EPG - although we managed to record programs after an hour's fiddling!

Doesn’t take much room, be okay if I can get it recording
Did not know you had to buy a stick to go in record TV for the one it recommended put it in it did not work so I’m going to try and get another one to see if it works or if it was a fault on the machine
