    The device arrived in impeccable shape, the closest to new that I've ever seen with a Jornada. It was packaged with great care and worked straight out of the box. The seller also included a free gift, including a battery, a stylus and a CompactFlash card to get the device going. With a battery to work on, I was able to re-cell the unit, and it now works better than new. All told, this was an incredible deal for 200 bucks, and I strongly recommend working with this seller, they are awesome!!!

    Old is new.

    The technology is old, but this portable device has made my boring job seem new again. I'm an album guy with an always growing CD collection. Now, I add music to my day, and this player doesn't skip no matter how I trudge and march my way through it.

    sony walkman

    If possible, I always use a portable Sony CD player. This specific machine is all I had hoped - the only thing wrong is the volume control doesn't work. It plays at one level of volume only. Otherwise, it is a good machine.

    A new use for an older product

    This item showed some wear and tear but that was expected. Good price and works well. My car did not have a CD player so I bought this to use CDs in my car by connecting this to my car's sound system when I want to listen to a CD. I bought a cable which allows my to do this from the Walkman's line out jack.

    sound

    Sony had an excellent sound for music - as well as voice. I like the addition of adding bass which exists on Sony products. I listen to it at night and find it a little difficult to get the right settings in the dark, but that is a minor problem. I've always felt Sony sound is far superior in music than any other type product.
