I took the time to sort the mixture of hackles into brown/coachman, black, grizzly, blue dun, and cree. Many excellent dry fly quality hackles in each color, plus some hackle for wet flies and Buggers. I tie several dozen flies each year for personal use and for family, and have tied flies since the 60's (including commercially at one point). This assortment of hackles is beyond an excellent value.

Didn’t seem like very many. I started taking them out to sort them by size/color and Holly cow…that ziplock was like a clown car; I just kept pulling more and more and more feathers out and it took quite a while for the bag to look any different. Great purchase!!! Thank you Heatherhead!!!!

I called the seller about there being only a few colors, and she did send me a few more colors, again stuffed in an envelope. I did appreciate her sending a few more colors but considering that the origenal advertisement indicated there were a "rainbow"of colors I felt she should have done so the first time.
