I'm currently running the Nixie tube on the DIY, uploaded from the gallery fonts, and it looks like the real thing. My only criticism is that the clock didn't arrive with a battery. The seller told me they can't ship batteries (fire hazard?), so be prepared to shell out a few dollars more to buy a CR1220. It would have been nice if this had been made clear in the advertisement.

The item is brand new and again since it is film wrapped, prepare to spend 5 minutes unwrapping the whole thing. The sound is good immediately out of the box. I will let it run a while first. Value exceeds expectation YES!
