I was offered the opportunity too and I did consider returning them but the cost to return the items using the Ebay return system meant that after everything was costed a balance of £1.75 would be refunded. The packaging, was bubble-wrapped, well taped, inserted into a grey sealed, Amazon-style, recyclable plastic envelope-bag .
