  This Sony PCM D100 DOES HAVE the option to set the English languague while the startup screen shows Chinese. There IS a Contact Seller option where buyers can contact me on eBay and ask for clarification but this buyer never reached out before posting this feedback. Detailed instruction with pictures was sent via eBay Message. This device is 100% authentic, brand-new. Claiming it from "Gray Market" due to menu languague setting without asking a sulotion first is absolutely UNFAIR & MISLEADING!

  IMPORTANT follow up: The seller responded to my negative review with photos of how to change the menu language from Chinese to English. I tried reaching the seller via EBay's "contact seller" links, but they didn't work so I left the above feedback, which I now regret. My sole complaint was the menu language. The recorder itself arrived NIB and functions perfectly. It was well-packaged, arrived quickly, and I am EXTREMELY SATISFIED. I'd like EBay to remove my unfair feedback and submit new.
