Leverage is a drama series that often veers into comedy as it tells the story of a group of thieves and con artists, who use their skills to win victories for the little guy. Leverage: the 1st Season tells the story of how these unlikely casts of characters, led by Timothy Hutton as Nathan Ford, go about overcoming obstacles and accomplishing missions. This four-disc set contains each episode of the first season of this show, along with some special features like audio commentaries and deleted scenes. Fans of action with their drama might enjoy the "Anatomy of a Stunt Fight" feature found on Leverage: The 1st Season four-disc set. Item received was new as described and pictured in the listing and was professionally packaged for shipping. CD was placed between two pieces of cardboard, then over wrapped in a layer of bubblewrap, and finally sealed in a plastic envelope.     One Of The Very Few Recent Television Shows That Is Worth Watching

    The premise of this show is a David & Goliath battle and if you liked "The Equalizer" or "The A Team" you will probably like this show. There is a certain amount of subtle humor which draws you to the characters and human frailty that I don't always care for but is part of the make up of the characters. Some of what they do to accomplish their goal seems far fetched but then again, these days a lot of things happen that a few years ago would seem far fetched. The team is led by a former insurance investigator who whose employer's greed caused his son to die from a treatable illness and as the series progresses his goal in life is to give the little guy, "Leverage" against the big guy.     Revenge is sweet-----and funny.

    Everyone has feelings of getting revenge for an injustice done to them by a person or company etc. This group of 5 people do a different "con" every episode to help someone get "justice". Each person on the team has their own specialties and I really like it because it's not "heavy" or violent. Actually lighthearted and often FUNNY. They don't kill or use guns.

    Decent, could have been great

    Entertaining concept but silly, inconsistent writing. In the pilot Eliot takes out four armed opponents in less than a second more than once, in other episodes he struggles with one person in poorly choreographed scenes. Some of the cons are brilliant, others are obvious. I won't buy following seasons.

    In life there are times we can all use some leverage

    love how each individual character interacts with one another. Perfect match up of five characters and their skills needed to pull off action packed "jobs", which have a touch of realism. Fun to watch. Always liked Timothy Hutton
