Product Information

Tru Davies (Eliza Dushku, WRONG TURN) may spend dreary night after dreary night working at the city morgue, but her depressing job is about to liven up a bit. When Tru starts regularly encountering corpses who appear to spring back to life and plead for help, she immediately finds herself frantically waking up at the beginning of the day that had just passed. She soon takes on the ritual responsibility of using these re-run days to stop the murders and suicides of the desperate dead people who come to her at work each night. That doesn't necessarily mean, however, that Tru can't also use these second chances to rectify any problems she might be having with her friends and family, including confidante Davis (funnyman Zach Galifianakis), older sister Meredith (Jessica Collins), best friend Lindsay (A.J. Cook), and former co-worker Gardez. As Tru juggles her supernatural responsibilities with a new potential love interest (Matthew Bomer), her pain-in-the-butt younger brother gradually becomes a loyal helper in the death-fixing business. That is, of course, until Jason Priestley comes aboard as the yin to Tru's yang, a Grim Reaper-like soul who believes in the order of the universe and that those who have died should stay dead. Don't miss even one of the 26 episodes of this eerily dramatic ghost tale.

    I received double discs of the Dubliner's live 40th reunion performance on DVD format, and am very pleased with my purchase. The discs were spotless and in new condition. The seller accepted my offer on an already reasonable asking price.     Tru Calling epitomizes "second chances", a Godly quality to set things right.

    Even though it was disappointing to realize the series was coming to an unexpected end, it's a consolation that we now have it in its entirety, watching at our leisure and catching episodes we missed when it was being freshly aired. DVD production and packaging put together very well.

    Tru Calling.

    I watched this show when it first came out. I found it entertaining, Eliza Dushku is underated, Very cute as well. I wish it had closure when they cancelled the series, it was still good while it lasted. Price was fair for this item, decent shape. Very satisfied.

    Tru Calling

    Loved the show. But it just's ends, leaving you hanging on several plot points. Was canceled way to early. Second season is only 6 episodes. What can you do?

    Great show!

    I watched the show when it originally aired. I like Eliza Dushku. And the rewinding time is so interesting. It’s engaging. Definitely recommend it!
