    A fanciful story!

    Well, saw this many, many years ago and enjoyed it even more today. This is, without a doubt, a classic. The movie has held up well and appears historical rather than "dated" as the tales about life will always be true. This movie is worth your time and I guarantee you will rather enjoy it.

    BATS!

    I never knew that did it all with rubber bands. Rosalind Russell is the best and greatest version, the be all end all of Auntie Mames. She makes the character classic, classy, and full of heart and humor. At 90 miles an hour a minute there are new laughs to be had every time you watch this movie.

    Crazy Mame

    This is a classic comedy that I have seen many times and with my recent order of the DVD, I can now watch again. It has always been one of my favorite movies. Rosalind Russell was born for this part, really excellent. It's one of Hollywood's biggest mistakes when they didn't cast her as Mame in the musical that was later made from the movie. Funny, entertaining, crazy characters, a whole lot of fun here.

    It will make you wish you had an "Auntie Mame"!

    Loved this movie since watching it with my parents and grandparents. Still has great ideas about how life should be lived to the fullest without hurting others along the way. Good morals to live by.
