Wilson Combat mags are highly recommended by gun professionals
I ordered a 2-pack. One worked perfectly out of the box; the second wouldn't hold the slide back after the last round was shot. Both mags worked well otherwise -- insertion, release, loading, etc. A gun professional said it is probably the spring in the mag. The mag was taken apart and the spring was curving side-to-side. This curve was straightened by hand and the mage reassembled. The mag now holds the slide back after the last bullet. Very please with the Wilson Combat mags. Mags need to be bumped/thumped in order to seat properly. The factory mags were all metal. The Wilson Combat mags have a large plastic base plate that makes it much easier to properly insert and seat the mag – it's much easier to bump/thump these mags. Wilson Combat Magazines
I have three 45 1911's and one 9mm 1911. I keep a Wilson Combat magazine in every one and a spare mag for each. When you want reliable and dependable you want Wilson Combat protecting you and your loved ones. Wilson combat etm 9mm mags
Bought them from ecop as a three pack. Compared to other retailers prices I was initially concerned that they might be a different model from the others listed for more. They arrived in three days and were the same make and model as the others listed only at a better price. One of the best mags on the market

Nothing but the best.
I’ve been shooting 1911s for 30 years. I only own Wilson Combat magazines. The fit and finish are superb. Quality control is unmatched in my opinion. Holds 10 rounds as advertised on the packing. I used to keep other magazines that came with the guns I purchased, but I got tired of the FTF problems that are plagued with other magazines. Now, whenever I buy a new gun that is not a Wilson Combat, I just toss the mags that come with them in the trash. Not even worth me selling and certainly not worth range use. I only practice with what I carry and I only carry Wilson Combat. 30 years of shooting these guns is all the proof I need. Some “experts” say that 50% of the problems with a 1911 is FTF which is solely a magazine issue. They can also cause some stovepipe issues by allowing the following cartridge to ride up early which interferes with the extraction of the current round, causing a stovepipe. Sure a weak extractor can be the culprit too, but if you can eliminate more than 50% of your problems by paying a few bucks more per magazine, why wouldn’t you? It’s your life, it’s your choice. Wilson 1911 Elite 500-9 magazines are awesome!
These magazines are perfect for anyone looking for a top notch magazine for their full-sized 9mm 1911 pistol. Just looking at them you can see the quality of manufacture. Fit and finish are perfect. The baseplates fit securely and perfectly. They are easy to load 10 rounds into and feed flawlessly; as well as flawlessly locking the slide open once empty. Get more than one!
These magazines are worth the extra money compared to competitive brands. My smith and wesson pro series came from the factory with this magazine. I have a dozen 1911 style pistols in a variety of calibers and of all my magazines these are the most sturdy (not just 1911 style either). Increased Capacity with Slight Dimensional Fudging
At the outset, these magazines are exceptionally well-made and completely reliable. I ran them through my new Commander-sized 1911 in 9mm with absolutely no problems. They're suitable for carry or competition and I would not hesitate to recommend them to a friend. That said, they do seem to poke out of the bottom of the grip a very slight amount. I see a slim line of shiny stainless steel, maybe 1/16th of an inch, between the magazine well (the frame has a dark finish) and the top of the substantial plastic floor plate. My New Springfield 1911 and I are Much Happier Now !!!
Right out of the box, my Springfield Range Officer had trouble with the factory mags. Sometimes couldn't fully insert a mag without having to slam it in, often couldn't drop a mag freely, and most of the time couldn't get the slide fully into battery if the mag was filled to capacity. After studying the factory mags for hours, I came to the conclusion that they flex/swell when loaded, the retaining lips hold the ammo much too tightly, and overall width is about 1/2 mm greater than that of the Wilson. The Wilson Combat 1911 ETM solved things immediately. Insertion and drop are silky smooth, feeding rounds into chamber is smooth and effortless, plus I get the 10 round capacity as a bonus. I will be ordering more of these and plan on giving all six of the Springfields away (couldn't sell them with a clear conscience).Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Neu
