Fraser shows how the family served as an important subtext in Delacroix's art and as a political emblem in the Restoration., Focusing on Eugene Delacroix's paintings from the Bourbon Restoration, Elisabeth Fraser shows how they responded to the charged cultural inheritance of the French Revolution.
