    A charming, and entertaining set of short stories!

    This set of several short stories are either amusing, romantic, dramatic, or suspenseful. Richard Widmark delivers a cartoon character performance of a no good small-time gangster and he overacts in an over the top way in his short story. Marilyn Monroe only appears for a scant minute in the story she is in. Charles Laughton is wonderful in his short story as an educated, and upscale bum. Anyway, I enjoyed watching most of this movie, so maybe you will also.

    Nice, nostalgic film

    Not a great film, but a great video presentation. The multiple episodes, each with a different cast and crew, are, not surprisingly, of variable quality (the first and last, IMHO, are best). However, the dvd itself, containing historical commentary and numerous featurettes on author O. Henry (William Sidney Porter), along with two interesting early silent short film adaptations of the author's works (sans music, however) is quite marvelous. One warning: though Marilyn Monroe, rather early in her carrer, is billed with the stars, her screen time is roughly 90 seconds! (This writer was called away for just a small time when first viewing this film and missed her altogether!).

    MY TOP 10 HOLIDAY FAVORITES

    I always did like this movie, especially during the holiday season, sure there's Scrooge, The Lemon Drop Kidd, Die Hard, lol, ok maybe not Die Hard, the jury's still out on that one. Hard to go wrong on those movies that have more than one story in them, as this one is, you're gonna like most of them. In "Full House" there's comedy, drama, and some good old fashion ''fell good". There are so many good stories in this one, it really makes you want to look deeper in to the writer we call "O. Henry,

    O Henry's full house DVD

    I always enjoyed O Henry's stories. I saw this once many years ago. It was so much fun watching it again and see all the famous movie stars who were in it. The story of his life that was in the bonus section was very interesting. It is a great tribute to his stories
