Great intro to wooden toys
Excellent quality wooden parts went together well with my nine year old grandson. Only design problem is that the operating string is in the direction of firing making it very difficult to aim. I modified mine so that the string came out of the rear end. The pva glue supplied was too thin. DaVinci catapult
I bought this for my 6-1/2 year old grandson to make when he came to stay. The quality of the parts is very good and the instructions are easy to follow. By explaining each step to him, grandson was able to assemble most of it by himself. By using dowel pegs, it is easy for small fingers to put it together. The supplied glue will make the job a lot stronger/durable, but not absolutely necessary for construction.
