What a fantastic book on the evolution and discovery of the Tarot . It was a significant aid in acquiring my vintage decks and expanding my collection -the pictures are numerous and along with descriptions and background information was intriguing , spanning the century’s as far back as the 1400s . Sturdy, hardcover encyclopedia with a lot of historical references.
I haven't had much of a chance to read it yet but at a glance, it appears to have a lot of information I have not been aware of before. I look forward to reading it. This book contains a lot of history and images. While most of them are in black and white, there are some that are in color. They are really great.
