    It's a beauty!

    This is an impressive-looking, well constructed watch. It's big and rugged, with the thick, tan band offering stylish contrast with the black face. Tan numerals and hands pick up the color of the band very nicely. Band is very unique with rivets and contrasting white stitching. I love heavy/substantial watches, and if you do as well, this is the watch for you. The first time I wore this to dinner with friends, every person noticed and complimented the watch. I'm very, very pleased to own this item.

    Luminox Atacama stylish and rugged

    I purchased the Luminox Atacama Field nywatchstore and I'm really happy with the item. The night time lighting works really well. The only downside for me is that I found the strap a little firm and plan to swap over to a light weight canvass style strap. I was also a little disappointed the watch didn't arrive in a box as shown in the advertisement. I guess that was to save postage costs but I can't say for sure as it may have shown a box for advertising purposes only? Aside from that however the watch it really nice and work as described. Another highlight for me was the way the clasp works. It sort of has a roller system which make it quite easy to slide the leather strap into place and I'm sure the leather will get softer over time. For anyone after these specific type of watches ...

    LumiNox Atacama,an excellent purchase

    Received my Atacama one week ago and I am very pleased,right out of the LumiNox box! Larger than I imagined,this is the most comfortable watch in my possession. The black face with beige numerals makes for any easy read just at a glance. And if you have never seen the LumiNox tubes glow at night your in for a treat. If you are looking for a purchase-I highly recommend the 1925 Atacama!!
