Book One of the Series, a good place to start
Volume 1 of the Ansel Adams books making up the film photographer's Bible. This is the start of the series of books that present the basics of film photography as the name states, The Camera. While it was written for film photography the principles it is also meaningful for digital photographers too as shutter speeds, apertures, ISO speeds and more carry through to digital picture taking. A great read for all serious photographers
I think this is almost a must read for any serious photographer just starting out, or even that has been doing it for awhile.
