A TIGER WALKS AND SOCIETY COLLAPSES
Though the Disney dvd version of A TIGER WALKS plays well, with no sound or lighting defects, the story it tells lacks credibility and the acting only ranges from satisfactory to poor. There are no true highlights. In order to keep the movie at a suitable level of minimal violence for family viewing a great deal of potential drama and suspense was sacrificed. As a pop sociological study of small town biases and ignorance, A TIGER WALKS becomes frantic without providing underlying substance or making any attempt at balance between conservationists and public safety hotheads. This one doesn't wear well over time. Stick to the Disney feature animations!

An Old One, But A Good One!.
I like a lot of the older Disney movies. So I was glad to find this one. A good movie for family night. Plus I really like movies with animals in them. Nice one to add to my collection.

So-so Disney fare.
Not particularly interesting. Only tried it because it's Disney. Only purchased it to see it once. Difficult title to find for free viewing. I didn't find it funny, emotional, or very educational. Usually Disney movies have one or more of those traits. OK, if you're a Disney completist.

Good Disney Flick
Blast from the past I wanted. I really enjoyed this movie again. I remember watching this as a kid and found it just as good again.

A Tiger Walks DVD
Part of the Wonderful World of Disney, this is a classic Disney movie about a mistreated tiger and the small town that rallied to save its life. Raja is a Bengal tiger from a traveling circus, and he is constantly mistreated by the man who owns the circus. One day Raja has enough, and he attacks the man who mistreats him and runs away. Now the small town of Scotia is on the alert, and it is up to the sheriff to shoot the animal before it attacks anyone else. But when the children of Scotia rally to capture Raja, and let him live the rest of his life peacefully in a zoo, it becomes a race to save the tiger's life. Thank you.

I am a hugh Disney fan and this dvd proved to be well worth the money...very entertaining. Packaged with care and delivered in a timely manner.

Good family entertainment!
Sixties-vintage family film with drama and color as Walt Disney knew how to make them. Five stars!
