    Very entertaining

    Love this series especially since the first book starts out less than 5 miles from my home. Can tell you that the author has hit the nail on the head with how fast society breaks down. After hurricane Wilma we had nothing for 16 days and it was amazing how fast everyone showed their true colors, a fast read.

    A good read.

    An interesting and informative book. I was debating on 4 stars or 5, It is not perfect, but it is the first book in years that was difficult to put down at the end of the day. Lots of practical survival formation, and written well enough that I had to order book 2 of the series.

    Seriously compelling!

    I could not put this book down & finished it in less than 2 days. It's intense, serious & gripping, yet very entertaining. I could have done without all of the bad language and did not find the glossary at the end of the book until I was done. I finished the next book in the series also in 2 days and I am almost done with the 3rd, looking forward to the next one.

    Going Home

    It’s an excellent book; the setting and backdrop, is from my home area of Florida. So as I read a picture everything in the book is Familiar to me… especially the Suwannee river basin of Dixie.
