Glenn Eagleston's P47D
This Hasegawa P 47 kit is as nice a fighter plane kit as I have built, & I have been building models since the start of WW2. I am 85 & still building all types of models. I built this one as Col. Glenn Eagleston's P 47D that he flew for awhile at the time of D day. I did his because I served under him in the late 1940's. The only thing I added to the kit was photoetch seat belts. Everything fit perfectly & the kit built very easily. I just started building 1/32 planes again about 5 months ago & they are a lot easier to see for an old modeler.
