Mighty Mule MM371
The new design seems more water resistant then the 350.. I had the 350 for 3 years but the rain got into the arm casing and rusted the thread on the screw arm .... I could not find that part. So I replaced the unit with the newer model. It was easy to install, but it doesn't open immediately when pushing the remote... sometimes I have to push and release the button on the remote several times to get it to operate. Very aggravating..

Mighty Mule MM371W gate opener was best value, quick ship, and easy installation.
Excellent value for 14' steel gate, very quiet operation and complete instructions make installing easy.

Works as advertised
works great so far, be careful about DIY, this is not a simple project, unless you're very handy with tools. Fortunately I was able to get tech support on the phone without too much trouble and I was able to get my issues resolved. It's only been a couple of weeks, but so far, so good

MM371W gate opener
Awesome product. I use to have prior to this one a 200 series Mighty Mule. It took about 3 minutes of your life waiting for it to open. The new MM371 takes about 20 seconds to fully open and your on your way. Much better product, very happy.

why not self contained unit without box..last one works fine..
Why did you change the computer hookup--does not make it easier if you have installed several ..reading directions important but they do need some refinement as they do not explain details that make the process more sensible.

Good product
Installed in a few hours. This was an upgrade replacement. The first one lasted almost 12 years. Hope this one is as good or better.

Price up, quality down.
I replaced my old gate opener with what I believed was an improved model. MM371W does not have adjustable stops when retracted, as older models did. The technical support is not helpful. Costs 60% more, and only improvement is that it’s a bit quieter.

Read wiring instructions carefully
This was to replace an older mighty mule unit we had for 5+ years. Install on this was easier than the original and all the addons work with it. One piece of advise is when you're wiring the 1 arm unit into the control box make sure you use the wiring slot labeled primary. The secondary wiring slot is closer and more accessible and feels natural but a single gate will not operate wired that way.
