Perfect for my 4 and 1 yr old
My 4 yr old quickly got the hang of putting the track and train together, but has many other Duplo sets. The train has great sound effects and really works well considering it's 3 AA batteries. The train works on and off the track on hardship surfaces and pulls it's one car well. I like the other odd pieces too and feel that this is a nice mix and match set. Very attractive and fun toy
Both my kids, 2 (who originally was intended to be the addressee of this toy) and 6 (who already has small "regular" Lego games of her own, and I didn't expect her to get excited about Duplo) were very excited and still play with it 2 weeks later at least once each day. Great train set!!!
