Best chinstrap I've found
I have bought and used multiple chinstraps to control my jaw drop in sleep apnea. Most of them are so uncomfortable to use that I simply didn't. This Resmed chinstrap is much more comfortable to use. It is light, but provides the necessary force to keep my jaw from dropping! One concern people may have is how to keep the single strap support from slipping off one's head in use. The Cpap mask straps do this with no problem! I highly recommend!

It’s OK. Best so far in chinstraps.
It’s OK but on the minimalist side. I like that because it doesn’t cover my ears. But it tends to slip off my head pretty easy because I use a pretty minimal headset on my mask (airfit p10). If I had a more substantial headgear that would probably secure this a little better. Anyways, it’s better than the other 2 I tried. But the best thing to keep my mouth shut so far has been a double sided mouthguard with the breathing holes closed shut.

Chin Restraint

Doe’s not stay in place.
I’m just thinking how I would improve this chin strap. Maybe by making the top of the strap wider. The problem with this strap is that it does not easily stay in place on your head. Once you put it on, and then put your c-pap over it, the head gear of the c-pap will move the chin strap out of place. I tried weaving the chin strap through the c-pap head strap, but had no success in that working either. Tonight I’m going to put my c-pap on, and then put the chin strap on, see if that makes any difference in it staying in place.

Good quality but to light ( not sufficient tension) for me!
Product straps are too"lightweight" to hold my jaw closed effectively. my air leakage went from 8-12 to 28-35 in two nights use. I didn't sleep well with that much leakage. I went back to my wide full elastic strap, it's much warmer than I would like but much more effective. Nothing wrong with this strap if you have a small jaw and are not a natural mouth breather.

ResMed Premium Chin Strap Restraint doesn't stay in place.
This Chin Strap Restraint doesn't stay in place as soon as you move your head. While good quality totally fails in one try out. Needs to have two locations of head straps or a cap style to keep it from moving. In hindsight, should have seen this fail before I ordered. Don't bother, it will never work as intended. Very disappointed in ResMed. How it even made it off the drawing board through user testing to market is beyond me.

Good overall.
It is a good strap overall. The only thing that might improve it, would be if the back part of the strap had a wider section, so that it would stay in place better.

Good Chin Strap
Good chin strap. The only problem I have is that it tends to roll up on the underside It is not a big deal. I will continue to buy this chin strap because it works for me. I have tried others and none work as good as this one does..

RESMED Premium Chin Strap
Arrived quickly and safely. Just as pictured. My husband didn't think it helped his " blowback " very much. I think he needs to try to tighten it up a little bit more? Or it's a matter of his goatee and interfering? In any case, it is well made and might work well for others. Many thanks!

works with slight adaptation
This chin strap is relatively comfortable, easily adjusted, and has definitely helped lower ahi. In order to keep it more stable on my head, I hand-sewed a piece of 3/4 inch elastic to go behind my head. Works!
