Difficult to program
Other similar timers are simple and quick. It maybe that I did not understand the instructions. but there are too many options.. There are 12 options for feeding, I only wanted 2, then there are options for every day of the week. I wanted it to be everyday. To set up a feeding you find the time you want in the morning, then you have to set that time up for each day of week. 7 settings to get it to one feeding in the morning. Then you have to do the same thing for the feeding in the evening, set up the even feeding for Sun, Mon, Tue, Wed, Thur, Fri & Sat. If you wanted a 3rd feeding, which I seldom do, you have to set it up for each day of the week also. Then after setting it up for the 2 or 3 feedings, you have to turn off the other 9 feedings for every day (all 7 of them). All other timers I have had, there were a max of 4 feeding, which meant if want all 4, you the times and the feeder will go off at those times every day of the week. There were no day options, it was every day. This feeder is like my water sprinkler controller. Much too complicated for a game feeder.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Neu

Jury is still out on this one, works when it wants to.
I purchased this controller to replace one that I purchased less than a year ago. The original one required you to set the time and frequency of feeding for every day of the week. I like the fact that this one has the same time for every day of the week. I sat in my tree stand the last few days and the morning feeding didn't go off either day but the afternoon worked fine. I hit the "test" button on my way out of the woods both mornings and it went off the first day and I had to hit it twice in order for it to feed the 2nd day. I don't expect much for the price I paid, if'/when this one goes bad I'll replace it with a Moultrie.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Neu

Inopt timers
I bought 8 of these timers a couple of months ago to replace my original timers that was flooded in a flood we had back in the summer. These are harder to set up and you have to set it for everyday and the old ones you set it for morning and evening and it fed everyday. If someone would swap me 8 of the old ones for these non-working ones I bought I would be a happy man. GOOD BUT..
This thing is an old style (per their tech support) and rather nitt-picky to program. 12 separate feedings x 7 days, and you have to address every occurrence whether you want a feeding time or not. Works great though once you get it set up.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Neu

Feeder timer
Bought this because I had another that looked identical that I was really pleased with. This one is either a newer or older version of the same model. My problem with this one is that it has an added feature of feedting 1 to 12 times for each of the 7 days of the week. Sounds good but makes it a nightmare to program. Wildgame digital timer

Digital controller for game feeder

Nice - only time will tell quality
Out of the box it seems like a worthy digital timer, but, time out in the field will prove its worthiness. On the plus side it is compact and easy to program. On the negative side the programming process is redundant and time consuming, you have to program each day of the week separately. it was easy
I already had one timer I thought was the same. So I set time I wanted to feed and went on, but when I returned it had not thrown out corn. I noticed the days of week on one line that wasn't on my other timer. I soon figured out you have to set feed times for every day of the week, that takes 7 times longer or more if you forget what day you just programed.A lot more complicated than the simple one like I already had.
