    Undocumented Free Paint

    Online photo not representative of items received, module had surface dirt which has cleaned off however remote module has a few traces of emulsion paint (additional undocumented feature) Although not installed have replaced main batteries and have not been able to adjust default frost setting from 5’c to 12’c which I prefer. Will update when I have finished binding process. Price was good however there appear to be a lot available for “working” modules and bidders happy to push price envelope.

    Where have you been all my life.

    I've been using another brand for years, which worked well, but was no more than a temperature switch, with the room temp fluctuating a few degrees before switching on or off. This unit is so much more than that, keeping the room at a constant temperature all the time. Well worth the extra cost.

    Honeywell thermostat

    Fantastic and easy to install. Has 7 day timer with 2 settings per day. Easy to use auto, manual and off functions. I had the older version and the display broke so replaced with this one. Perfect

    easy to install

    This is the first one I have purchased. I have two previous ones before under warranty. The first one, the clock stopped keeping time, the second one the screen failed after 18 months. Honeywell do not want to know even though it is a common problem. I bought a different make (salus rt500 rf)but that would not communicate with my valiant boiler and because I had installed it they would not let me return it. The reason I then bought a Honeywell is because I know it works, for how long time will tell.

    More useful features than cheaper versions

    It is much more expensive than other remote thermostats but I like it for controlling day by day which cheaper options do not do. Party more is great too which overrides the programme for an hour or so. Also love holiday mode which switches off whilst you are away but welcomes you home to a warm house.
