An oldie, but a goodie!
Loved my original P1 so much, I had to get a P2, and am happy I found it in this color! The item was exactly as described, and in working condition. Love the throwback of this little toy :) Just a little advice to anybody wanting to buy an original unopened, or even used, Tamagotchi: 1) DO NOT pull the tab right away, because it's best to check and change the batteries first! 2) This is necessary due to the age of the toy, and the high probability the original batteries will be leaking acid, and you do not want to pull the tab risking acid dripping onto the circuitry. This happened to me before, and in my experience, the acid usually drips along the metal parts of the battery terminal, but it's best to be safe that sorry. So, inspect the terminals first, and if necessary, DAB off the acid, and then remove the tab. If not, just replace them. 3) BE SURE to have a set of JIS screwdrivers (size 0), because a regular Philips will strip the screws, if you intend to change them yourself. You can also take it to any jeweler, and have them replace the batteries. Hope that helps, and enjoy!

Its alive!
Really excited to get this for my girlfriend. Just needed to changed the batteries and do some light cleaning on the contact points and we are now enjoying our fully working original TamaGotchi!

Nostalgia!!
I bought a new-in-box one when I was feeling nostalgic for the toy I had as a kid. And omg, it delivers. It is exactly how I remember and works flawlessly. I was way better at taking care of it as a kid, though. It keeps dying on me.

Exactly what I wanted!
Curiosity lead me to this!! I was just curious to know if my childhood games were still around and it was!! It was a must and now I feel like a child all over again!

great device tight packaging
It’s what i was looking for but seemed to be sandwiched into a bag to small for delivery. came squished and more bent than It should have.

It's as awesome and unforgiving as you remember
Worth investing in for a keychain, expect to clean up poo and get way further in the evolution than you ever did before

Intact, New, Greatly stored, Original
It is the original! Intact, in its original box. It's very well stored and saved and the removable seal is still intact inside the tamagotchi. I'm super happy with it! :) Gotta note I haven't used it, so it's prone to not work due to its age, but it is the real deal and that's what I asked for!
