Great Black Sabbath tribute cd
This cd would be a great addition to anyone's Black Sabbath collection. Rob Zombie sings "Children of the Grave" and he nails it! The insert tells the story how each of the tribute bands were influenced by Black Sabbath music. The second time I buy this CD since 1994
Perhaps more than any other single group, the Sabbath sound lay at the heart of Seattle's grunge movement 20-some years later. And many of today's top sonic heavyweights are only too ecstatic to give credit where credit is due. The liner notes may somewhat overstate Black Sabbath's ultimate importance, and quotes from the participating groups tend to gush with the praise of devoted acolytes...but that's exactly the point.
