flowers in watercolor
I was very disappointed - her paintings are usually so rich in color / detail / backgrounds - the book's paintings were very light, few layers, minimal detail in the use of color or details and minimal backgrounds - they looked totally unfinished. It looked like either the first base layer of paint or like very beginners work. I wanted to learn about the rich background colors she used to highlight her flowers and the details of the shading of the flowers - not in this book! There were patterns for each flower which was nice and good for practice but not instruction or teaching of using pait.
